Sake Bomb
- 1 oz cold Sake
- Drops into
- ½ Pint Sapporo Japanese Beer
The Setup:
Fill the pint glass half full with the Sapporo, place two chop sticks (chop sticks with flat sides are easier to use) across the top of the pint glass about the width of the bottom of the shot glass apart. Fill the Shot glass with the Sake and place it on the chop sticks.
The Drink:
Placing one fist on each side of the pint glass, pound the table. The pounding should jar the shot glass causing it drop between chop sticks (knocking them away) and into the drink.
Then Consume:
This shot is usually done by several (4 to 5) people at a time. The Magna-Shot tradition has been to chant: Sake, Sake, Sake, Bomb! With the pound coming with the Bomb in the chant.
From Experience:
The person who is slow or doesn’t pound with everyone else usually ends up with their shot glass falling off the chopsticks cockeyed and getting stuck sideways in the pint glass.
Drop. Clink. Drink.
